Car Parks
Most car parks in Minehead are owned, managed and maintained by Somerset Council. However, as part of the devolution agreement between Somerset Council and Minehead Town Council, ownership of two car parks was transferred to the Town Council.
This means that income generated from these car parks is retained locally and helps support services, facilities and community projects that benefit Minehead and its residents.
Although these car parks are owned by Minehead Town Council, they continue to be managed and administered by Somerset Council. For parking enquiries, faults, payment issues, penalty charge notices or disputes, please contact Somerset Council directly.

North Road Car Park

North Road Car Park is one of Minehead's most conveniently located long-stay car parks, situated just a short walk from the town centre. Located beside the beautiful Blenheim Gardens, it is an excellent choice for shopping trips, visits to local cafés and businesses, community events and time spent enjoying the gardens.
Its central location makes it one of the easiest places to park when exploring the heart of Minehead.

Alexandra Road Car Park

Alexandra Road Car Park is one of Minehead's larger long-stay car parks, providing convenient access to the Minehead Community Building, Irnham Recreation Ground and the town centre. The layout reflects the age and character of the site, so visitors may find some bays narrower than those found in more modern car parks.Situated close to local community facilities and within easy walking distance of the town centre, Alexandra Road Car Park is a practical choice for both residents and visitors.
